Snapshots: May

It’s been such a great month for us! We’re inching closer and closer to the one year anniversary of our move to London and this month we also enjoyed our very first taste of national exposure by having our feature published in the Guardian. The digital version of that is still viewable here.

We’ve also had all three of our videos for Waitrose TV uploaded. We have a post coming on that tomorrow!

We’re busy preparing for a major move from one end of London to the other and our content hasn’t been as frequent as before but we cannot wait to show you our new place and we’re looking forward to making it our own over the next few months. It’s going to be fun to explore Peckham and report on all the amazing things down south for the next few years, after spending this year exploring the East End.

Thanks, as usual, for all of your support and for reading the blog. Do send us tweets, comments or e-mails letting us know what you like or want to see more of!

Audio Blog #1 – Seasonal Produce

We have decided to diversify how we do this blog. Seeing as Russell cannot stop talking and loves radio, and sometimes we don’t get around to writing all of our foodie thoughts down, it felt right that we add a new dimension to what we do on GastroGays.

The Potato Merchant, Exmouth Market

It’s a sad fact that sometimes, through one reason or another, beloved things are taken away from you before you’ve had time to say goodbye. Unfortunately the Potato Merchant on Exmouth Market has now closed down. We found out with heavy hearts, and was confirmed a few weeks later. Very sad – but we will leave this review up in remembrance… #spudmemorial
