FINALLY! We can share with you something we have been ever so excited to tell you about for some time now. Plus we have coupled up this lovely announcement alongside a brand new audio blog post all on the topic of one of those baking essentials: bread.
On 29th March 2014 same sex marriage became legal in the United Kingdom, our adopted home. This makes us very happy and can only hope that soon Ireland follows suit without horrific nasty debates and tearing society apart. Congrats to all of those making history today!
And no we are not planning to get married any time soon. BUT having the option to is quite nice.
December saw us take two trips home, begin jobs, leave jobs, over-do it at Christmas parties and spend lots of time making and baking edible gifts. Not even a horrendous storm could keep us from returning home and now we look forward to a brand new year in our adopted hometown of London – beginning this one as seasoned residents.
